There is no fountain of youth, but researchers have found a way to slow biological aging.
A Brigham Young University study found that people who ran at high intensity for 30-40 minutes five days a week had longer telomeres, the protective caps on chromosomes that shorten with age. This made them biologically nine years younger than those who followed moderate exercise programs or led sedentary lifestyles. This suggests that vigorous activity helps slow cellular aging and improve overall health.
