Kristi Dinslage

NSCA-CPT, Certified Metabolic Technician, AHA-CPR/AED/1st Aid

Kristi has a love for teaching and mentoring others, especially on health, wellness, and lifestyle change.  She has a diverse background in the field and is always looking to learn new things.  Through her experiences, personal training has allowed her to merge passion and career and share her knowledge.

"My favorite part about training is when clients experience their 'aha moment'. This can happen in 5 days...3 weeks...2 months...whenever! It's that moment when everything clicks and they start to trust in me, trust in themselves and trust in the journey we're taking together to reach their goals. I'll provide the knowledge, all they have to do is show up and work hard!"

More Information About Kristi

Kristi Dinslage is a native of the Midwest and grew up in a small town in Northeast Nebraska.  As a youth she was involved in several sports and was always doing something physically active, which led her to pursue a degree in a respective field.  While in college, she was a member of the cheerleading squad and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society.  She also participated in intramural sports and was an assistant dance instructor at a local studio.
After college, Kristi worked as an Exercise Specialist in the wellness center/physical therapy department at St. Francis Memorial Hospital in West Point, Nebraska.  She worked closely with stroke patients, MS patients and PT patients- transitioning them through an assisted wellness program.  She also conducted high school sports performance camps, boot camps, aqua conditioning, small group training, one-on-one training, off-season strength and conditioning programs and worked alongside Respiratory Therapists to administer asthma-induced exercise testing.
In addition, she chartered the employee wellness program at SFMH, organized an annual community Fun Run, and participated and presented at several health and wellness events.  Outside of her career, she directed a Just For Kix dance program, organized a sand volleyball league in the community and regularly volunteered.
On a whim, Kristi moved to South Florida in 2011, two week after a successful phone interview.  When that gym closed it’s doors a few months later, she joined the personal training department at Life Time Athletic in Boca Raton.  While at Life Time, she became myHealthScore and myHealthCheck certified and also earned her Metabolic Technician Certification.
She left Life time to start her business, Metabolic Edge, and continues to develop all areas of her personal training career.
